Default Fuel Line repair

Is there a Thread on how to repair the crimped end type hose that runs from the B bank Pres regulator to the Refrigerant cooler? Is there a nipple that protrudes from the crimp bezel enough to fit a small hose clamp? Or is there a more professional way to do it??? Do you have to cut off the crimp bezel?

Lots of threads about fuel pipes and hoses. Here's one

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...atives-201065/

What you're thinking is a crimped fitting, isn't. The hose presses onto barbed nipple. What you're thinking is a crimp fitting is a ferrule...a cap-like widget that Keeps the end of the hoses intact. Lots of shapes and styles out there. I use the same type as seen on the fuel injector hoses, part EAC7876, available from various Jag suppliers, but others have their own preferences

*Carefully* cut the ferrule and hose off the nipple....you don't want to damage the nipple...then slip a new ferrule over the nipple then press on the new hose. Done.

Others melt the hose away so the ferrule can be reused

Cheers

Apparently you can just cut it apart. I had a local hydraulic shop remake it reusing he hard bit for about $20.

wrestling it out around the inlet manifold is kind of a bear.
