Rob,

Taps, NAH, not in the boot. Been there, done that, with the PreHE's, always an odour.
Outside the car, sweet.

Mine all ended up like Greg's, with no sump filter. Also used Wix brand, and changed every 5 years, just because.

1/2" hose was the hardest, the 12.5 I was always being supplied just did not fit good enough for me. Goss had it, but that was 25+ years ago.

I used this from the USA for the feed hose. You cut out of the shape what you need!

Hi guys.
I spent the day pulling the sump tank out etc. This is the sock filter as removed.

Nothing much really. I have now cleaned the tank and done away with the sock filter but have fitted an inline filter between the main tank and the sump tank. The filter I used is actually for tractors FF5289 which is the same as the WIX filter.I have also fitted a new pump and main fuel filter. New regulator’s going on tomorrow. I will report back tomorrow when they are fitted.

Rob.

All done new regulators fitted. This is now my setup for the sump tank.

Now shouldn’t have to open the sump tank again. Just change the inline filter every so often a lot easier than pulling the sump tank out.

Rob.
