Fuel sender ohm resistance rating - aftermarket gauges
Can someone verify the ohm resistance range is for the stock fuel sender in a 1978 XJ-S?
I'm contemplating doing a custom dash with VDO gauges.
FWIW my car is not a survivor and had the original V12 replaced with a small block chevy back in '88 - I'm having fun with some tasteful resto-mod updating and looking to do a custom dash / aftermarket gauges to also correct a failed mechanical speedometer.
Thanks, Steve

I take it if this is the correct range that 25 is full and 250 is empty?
Any idea on how far off a gauge w/ a range of 33-240 would be?
I know there are some fuel gauges out there that are fully programmable from AutoMeter and SpeedHut - the SpeedHut gauges have me very intrigued, I like how they can be customized and reading good reviews.
A standard VDO setup will be cheaper if it works.
