Default getting the Delanair Mk III blower fan off.

I know there was a recent post that may have answered this question, but I can't find it.

I'm trying to get the RH blower fan out on a LH drive car. I've got the bolts out, I can shake the fan, shift it up and down and all that good stuff, but it will not come out.

The recirculation flap is open, and by getting a finger in there I can feel something that is probably an actuator rod, but I've no hope of freeing it with just one finger.

FYI the blower works, but it needs the blue rubber air duct assembly taped to it since it keeps slipping off.

Thanks,

John

You have to pull open the bottom vent flap, which is connected to the top flap and opens it, then the blower can be wriggled out downwards.

Greg,

So, don't worry about having to disconnect any sort of linkage. Just open the bottom flap as far as I can and pull (or wiggle as the case may be)?

That leads to question #2...is it going to be "easy" (in Jaguar terms) to get the thing remounted?

Thanks!

Nothing else to undo to get it out, but the electrical connector needs to be undone when you can get to it.
Reinstallation the reverse, much easier, in fact, for some reason.

Got it out Greg...and back in. Much easier going back in.

Thanks,

John
