Glove box lock/Cubby box

Glove box lock/Cubby box
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. My glove box lock broke and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.
The glove box lock cylinder as with most XJS glove box locks, is opened by the same key that one uses for the ignition and trunk.
The glove box lock is now discontinued so more than likely I won't be able to find a replacement which will open with my current key.
As you can see from the pictures, my lock is in good shape but it's missing the small hook that's supposed to be located at the end which likely hooks into the glove compartment.
My guess is that if I find a replacement, it would be used and my best bet would be to change the cylinder from the one I currently own and insert it into the replacement that still has the hook intact.
I have attached a diagram from the Jaguar Heritage site of what I need specifically and a picture of my part that's broken. I'd be needing part #11.
If you have the part that would be great or if you can direct me to somewhere I can find it I'd be very appreciative. My car is a 1992 XJS.
Also does anyone think that the little hook part that broke can be reconstructed. I can't seem to find a picture of what the original part looks like? Would anyone be able to upload a pic of their part intact within the glove box or out of it it?
If anyone can help out in anyway with some info thanks in advance!
BTW the car has been up and running for a few weeks and have put a little over 200 miles on her.
I've attached a recent pic of her parked out in an NYC side street as well.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep an eye on it if I can't find a replacement however the price seems a little steep for a part without the key.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had actually already emailed David before I posted this and it's proved to be the most promising at the moment. I have a facelift model and he has a lock for an earlier model. I've attached pics of the part he has.
Do you or anyone on here have an idea if this part would fit on my glove box? From the pics it looks like it would but want to be sure.
First three pics are of his used part. Last three pics are of my glove box and the latch in the glove box.

Hey man these seem like very good alternatives but I actually think I found something for now. Similar parts to the ones you own. Just trying to verify if it will fit.
If by any chance it falls through I'll let you know.
I may also need a working cigarette lighter kit. Just need to also verify that mine is definitely not working.
Any chance you have that?

Thanks for the suggestion!! I was excited when I saw the link but I emailed them about ordering one and unfortunately this is just a sample link with the types of parts they normally had in stock.
Another part that bummed me out is that the fellow said he was winding down his site and business and only has a few parts left.
Shame to lose another good source of parts.

Glove Box Extra Hole
Does anyone know what goes in the small oblong hole above the glove box knob & lock and where would you get this part? What parts are people using for the light switches to turn on a aftermarket glove box and center console storage compartment light?
What goes in the extra hole above glove box latch?

Greg,
As you said the hole is for air sensor and the tubing is still connected into the hole and tied into the heating and cooling system tubing. I don't think there is a trim piece that goes over the hole. How do you clean the tubing, filters, etc. so the HVAC system and controls work properly?
