My 87 V12 had been sitting for a while. However she started up with out much coaxing last summer and ran good. I parked the car over the winter intending to start her periodcially. It was at that point she started giving me fits. We can get her started on Starting Fluid and can her to stay running but she will not start on her own. Any suggestions?
PS...she is getting plenty of gas at the fuel rail, the pump is working, she has gas in the tank and it's fresh. Plugs have less than 100 miles on them, new 8mm wires. .

I would grab an old spark plug, insert it in the business end of any easy to access lead, and earth said plug anywhere it lands.
Crank the beast, looking for a FAT Blue CRACK of a spark. No got that?, No start V12.
If that spark sucks, remove the COIL HT lead from the cap, insert that sparker in the end of that lead, and try again.
The other culprits are varied, but not going there until you come back.
