Default Hello from new 88 XJS owner

Hello - i just bought my first jag. A 1988 XJS with 22,000 miles. Loved these cars as a kid. Look forward to learning from all of you in these forums (already have from the sticky posts).

Welcome to the Forums.

Looks GOOD, really needs to be DRIVEN, that is too low a mileage for my liking,.

Please do an Intro in the New Members Area when the Warm and Fuzzies settle a tad.

Good luck.

Nice red coupe. I have a 1994 4.0L coupe with over 200k miles. You need to catch up.

Really a clean car for a Minnesota vehicle, must of spent it's life in a garage. Otherwise I'd think the salt worms would have gotten to it. Way to go one finding on that nice and clean.

Thanks. It was actually a Pennsylvania car that I had shipped here. One owner, stored most of its life… I don’t think it’s ever even seen rain.

Was lucky to find it.

High NK,

Welcome to the clan. There is so much knowledge on here that you picked a good place to start.

Nice looking car. Same colour and wheels as mine which has a 140k miles on the clock so you need to have some tours! Presumably a V12 auto?

Cheers,
LeeP
