I am trying to restore a 1988 xjs12 convertible. It is a conversion and I am having a nearly impossible time finding where I can get the steele rubber for the windows and all around the top up until the windshield.

Anywhere I look, anywhere I turn, I get the same helpless response.

Where on earth, if anyone can offer anything constructive, would I go to potentially find the final piece to my puzzle? Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Please and thanks in advance.

Just thinking outside the box again - do you have an example of what originally came off - or can you get a cross section of it. The rubbers I have installed for my boot seal, bonnet seal, and the seals I will install around my doors are all non-jaguar parts. I just searched for a similar profile. So far so good.

See you are a new member - so if you can post some pictures of your project - it would be good
