Default HELP! XJS v12 5.3 ignition issues

Hi there, I hope to find someone who can help me with this : I have a 1977 xjs 5.3 v12 with Lucas ignition. She starts from cold and runs sweet and idles perfectly but as soon as she's warmed up she splutters and accelerates only reluctantly. On idle she would die instantly. Having done my research I would suspect the ignition amplifier being the source of the problem but as my talent is being more into mechanics I hope to find someone here who can help me to fix it. Thanks in advance, Patrick

Patrick,

As you've already posted a separate Intro, I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to XJS forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.
