Default Here I go again boys: leather and vynil dye.

Switching my car from cream ambla/part leather to barley real leather

My entire front area is done: front two seats done in brand new leather professionally installed, center console and door panels taken from a 10k mile wrecked car with barley interior, recovered the knee bolsters and front footwell trim myself, those 4 trim parts i did myself came out kind of blah, but with all the other new things it blends in pretty good.

And now the blasted back seats. I do wish I had a storage box back there! It's getting dyed to match as well as the convertible top cover. I really could not justify spending the same kind of money i spend on the front seats recovering a rear seat no one has EVER sat in or buying a new convertible top cover when mine is perfectly fine, except for the color

Anywho, I removed the back seats and rear speaker panels (10 minute job) and also the convertible top cover. I bought some SEM classic coat spray cans and am hoping for the best. Last time I tried to redye seats, I A) got high from the fumes and B) did a pretty sh$&$y job. I revert to Kindergarten mode with projects that involve glue and color and the results often reflect it......,

So if anyone has any advise, it is greatly appreciated. The cream seats and speaker panels are obviously turning barley and the tonneau convertible top cover is turning black.
