Default Hooked up new battery and having a constant beep?

I just put a new battery in the car and I am getting a beep very 3-5 seconds. Sounds like the alarm? I have tried the remote and the key and starting the car. It's stops while running and the starts beeping as soon as the key is off?

Disconnect the battery wait re-connect at each beep (should be 5) press the remote. if more than 1 remote use each one once then press 1 until beep stops

It helps if you put the year and type of car in your txt. Also Yankland is very big....a State or city helps people offer local help.............
