Arrow Hose connecting Air balance pipe

Does anyone have a part no or US source for the rubber hose that connects the air balance pipe and the intake manifold? I'm having a hard time finding it on sng barrat.

Its got a slight elbow to it.

By "air balance tube", i mean the metal pipe behind the V12, near the firewall that connects the left and right manifolds.

I've replacing all the vacuum lines on the V12, and I'm seeing that there's a variety of sizes.. i just took some hoses to AutoZone, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they did not charge me for it. However, if there was a kit or a list of sizes that I could order online, that would be a lot more convenient..

I know theres the hose from the center of the air balance pipe to the ecu in the trunk, but i also see some others that run behind the firewall. What are those? Dont recall seeing them in the vacuum diagram

Thanks

EAC2654 is the balance connectors with the "kink" in them, as fitted to the later V12 engine.

The other vac hoses behind the engine are more than likely heater tap, and climate unit related.

Thanks Grant.

Also, the plastic part #18 on this diagram has disintegrated, both classic jag and sng don't list it. Any sources? It's the plastic sleeve in which the throttle rod rotates

That's C19706....but I don't think that's what you want.

The nylon/plastic bushing that's typically replaced is C34388, #12 in this illustration

Part no. C34388 | Bush parts from Jaguar Heritage Parts UK

Google the number, lots of choices. Some replacements are made of such a rigid material that I'm unable to install 'em without trimming them down a bit

Cheers

Doug has that one sorted, and yes, fitting them is crazy fun, drink heaps before even attempting it.

I reckon Doug typoed that as #12, when he meant #17, but we know what he means.

Me too.

Down to 2 keyboards from 3, so on the mend I think.

Using the wifes spectacles reeked absolute havoc, took 20 minutes to work it out, damn.

Thanks Dave, I'll run down to Autozone and try some generic 1" hose, if that does not sit/look well, then I'll go with the oem.

On the vacuum line, i need a really long hose to go from the balance pipe to the ECU, what size and length is that line?

It is 10mm diam, and NOT very long at all.

There is a metal pipe about 15" (memory) down from that crossover pipe, and that pipe runs to the rear, where a smaller hose takes the vac to the ECU spigot.

Always good to help member queries, but perhaps more appropriate to start with recent threads, rather than a query from 8 years ago, which we would hope has been resolved by now.

I think I have one of those elbows in my parts bins.
PM me if you still need it.
