How Many 4.0L XJS Celebration Convertibles Were Produced For The UK

OB,
As you know, all XJSs produced after VIN 221855 to the end of production are termed "Celebration".
So, there are theoretically 4790 Celebration XJSs.
I don't have a precise breakdown, but one can assume c70%-80% of production was Convertibles, compared to Coupes. (It was up to 90%+ by the end of production). Then one could perhaps assume that 80% were LHD and 20% RHD?
So, maybe 700-750 RHD convertibles?
As regards, where your car sits in production run, just subtract the last 6 of your VIN from 226645 and you'll know where you are in the total production run. Then you could use my rough guesses on % ratio to roughly work out how many RHD convertibles were produced after yours.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul (ptjs)
Your knowledge is Amazing!
No wonder it is easier to try and find an 'e' type than an XJS Celebration Convertible!
I'll also write that down here, just in case I forget
Celebration Cars Start After VIN 221855 Subtract the Last 6 of my Vin from 226645 To Find the Approximate Production Number
Approximately only 700-750 RHD Convertibles in the UK.info Courtesy of Paul (ptjs)
I'll Come back an edit this when I have found my Vin Number
My Vin is 222028 - 221885 = 143rd Car off the production line
Does that sound right to you?
