Running, but still a work in progress ... and haven't been out much this year yet, spring has just arrived here in Wisconsin.

Mine is far from runnable. Although, I hope to start work soon (in the next few months).

I have been curious of how many survivors are around today. Running or not, just in proper shape (not flat) and not used as parts cars.

I the UK, astonishingly. there are only 494 V12 HE XJSs registered as road going or registered as off road in storage. (In the UK you have to still register a car that is not scrapped even if not being used). The total number of all types of XJS is 854. Again, an amazingly low figure, in my view. Hold on to them boys, they will keep you in your old age!

My XJwuzza six continues to purr. Coco and I went on errands in it yesterday. It needs washing, and some polish, but still presentable. I vacuumed the interior and cleaned the passenger seat and the windows. It and Coco were admired by a pretty lady. I not mentioned???

The Jeep got a much needed interior and exterior vacuum job. Washed as well. Feeding it's bountiful faded exterior plastic with a Meguir product in progress, It works very nicely.

Each of my critters on the "ready line'. Definitely a good thing.

Gas fueled Weed Whackers not so, not a good thing.

This is astonishing! In the whole of the U.K.? Wow.

I wish i could do something similar in the US, but I don't think it's possible. Here you can just barn a car and leave it for 20-30 years then re-register it.

What percentage of the XJSs went to the US vs UK cars? AU?

Runs beautifully, but at the moment won't stop. Got some new Master Cylinder issues to resolve. I usually daily drive it in the summer. Only let me down once or twice.

I also thought that 494 number was low... I followed the link and tried to change the search by looking for 'XJ-S' instead of 'XJS'. The search came back back with a few more specimen... The total numbers of registered V12s in UK should be above 1k, but not a lot more than that

Could be; but I suspect, as in the UK the cars are hardly ever designated with the hyphen, the results might be getting "contaminated" with XJ saloon data.

494 or even 1000 XJS in UK is an incredibly low number. I have on the other hand never seen an XJS on the roads in England, and I have been there a few times...

I did same check for Denmark earlier this year and 24 XJS/XJ-S turned up, but many are not found by the filter. Mine is for example 'just' listed as a Jaguar, no type indicated.

What surprised me is that there are a few XJS's around my neck of the woods, considering I live in small rural community.

I bumped into an older lady driving a Gold XJS in town, she told me she has had the car since new.
