Handbrake sticker for window.
Handbrake sticker for window.
The window sticker is something the dealer puts on the window listing all the options and features that particular car has and how much they cost, including the final asking price for the car.
Really, unless its already with the car, this is going to be virtually impossible in a pre-computer world. There's a chance that the original dealer might still have their records, but that's it. I doubt they would keep records from that long ago, if they're even still in business. Its really a dealer specific thing. Jaguar may say that the car should cost X, but that doesn't mean the dealer has to honor that.

That's not what he means.

Yes, many dealers remove it as part of delivery prep, but will include it with the vehicle. The dealer where I once worked (a long time ago) would leave it on the passenger seat at delivery. But it stayed on the car until purchase was complete.
Of course, then there are dealer mark ups as well as things added by the dealer. They tend to add a separate sticker listing those things. But the original sticker is done by the manufacturer.
I don't think it's possible to get a copy of the sticker, but you could try contacting Jaguar Heritage, which may have the original factory records, and be able to list options, etc.

Thank you all
I did contact Jaguar Heritage and this is what they sent me in regards of certificate not a window sticker
To obtain a complete certificate, you will need to provide the chassis, engine, body and gearbox number, if you know them, plus a copy of supporting official documentation (V5c or Title document). Please read our terms and conditions for more information on numbers: https://www.jaguarheritage.com/terms-and-conditions/
I have no idea how to obtain of the gearbox or chassis number

Terry007,
Your engine number is on the right hand side of the engine block at the front just by the Camshaft postion sensor.
Your gearbox number is on a plate just behind the gearshift cable
Your body number is on a tag behind the bumper (but you'd have to remove the bumper to get to it.
Your chassis number is your VIN
Good luck
Paul

Also note that there are 2 VIN's. The one stamped on the cowl near the fender cross braces is the one that you would send to Jaguar Heritage, the other on the door sticker is an "American VIN" as the US uses a different system of recording data than the rest of the world. They are both 17 digits, but they will not be the same in their entirety.
However, this is probably moot. A Heritage Certificate will tell you the original spec (like 4.0, convertible etc but not options) and colours of the car, but it's not the window sticker in the sense of what was supplied on cars destined for the US market. Again, these window stickers are the US market specific item. A build sheet will tell you what options the car was built with, but will not tell you MSRP etc.
You can piece together most of the information that would have been on the window sticker, but not all.
