If against rules delete.
I have been on lots of Isuzu forums and no response so I will try here.
1992 Isuzu P/U single cab 2 wd.
A hose came off from somewhere, this hose has a fuel filter on it and some fuel comes out of it,enough to smell. I have been under on top with no luck finding where it goes so I plugged it off, drove for a couple days and while driving on interstate all the sudden motor died and would not start so I worked my hand underneath and pulled the plug out, gas squirted out, got back in and it started right up and been driving that way which is very dangerous.
Anyone know where this is to connect too.
I apologize if against rules.

Purely wild guess. Although the engine uses a carb, it also may have an "excess fuel" return line. Yours should find a way back to the tanks.
Or this is a tank vent line. Open to the atmosphere, all is well, sorta.
Closed, a vacuum builds n the tank that the fuel pump can not over come.
Look for a place circa the intake for a purge valve. The open end goes there, it there is one.
