Default Installing fog lights on a '94 XJS 6-cyl coupe

Hello,

I recently purchased a 1994 model year coupe, U.S. model. I would like to install a pair of auxiliary lights under the bumper. I realize fog lamps were an option; my car however does not have them (strange, it has the cold weather package and rear fog lights, but not front).

I see a couple of unused plug connectors under the hood, and it got me thinking: Is the wiring already in place (as is the case on many other cars), so all I would have to do is install the lamps and the switch and connect everything, and have it appear and function as factory? Would love to be able to go this route.

Can anyone shed some light, tell me where to look and what to look for under the bonnet and behind the dashboard?

Thanks,

Tony K.

All my parts are installed correct and the switches and relay Work, but I still have not found that damn shorting plugyet. I have removed all the panels, the console, radio, A/C control head and went through every harness and plug under the dash and in both “A” posts.I am driving it but have not put all the panels back on thinking a brain storm well lead me to the fix if I just keep looking at it.

This may be a stupid suggestion, but could it be one of your fog lights is the culprit? Drawing too much power or?
