instrument LED upgrade with pictures
I have just finished upgrading all the dash warning lamps to LED's ,
you have to get the polarity right or the lamp won't work , the positive side of the diode is indicated by the ' thicker ' wire on the ' peg '
the top rows polarity is the opposite to the bottom row polarity , and one warning lamp goes in sideways, good old Jag , lol

illumination is much better for all the lamps , however the lower fault lamps could do with a slightly broader spread of light, as its a bit of a spot effect, but i can live with that
while replacing i found that three of my original filament lamps had blown !

bit blurred due to getting the timing right for the left indicator , lol

very easy project, and the costs have come down quite a bit from a year or two ago
well worth the effort
i have ordered some instrument back lighting lamps as well , future job
