Interest in Reproduction Headliner Board/Biscuit

Removing the existing material from the front/underside took the top layer of fiberglass with it in large patches. After soaking the surface in resin to create a shell, I've spent several hours filling in the depressed areas to get them level again. I've applied and sanded two fills over the entire surface, and probably have two more before the surface is in good enough condition to mold—probably about 6 good hours.
My last two weekeends were too busy to work on it, and it's been too cold lately to work on it at night. I should be able to work on it for a couple hours this weekend, though, maybe more. I'll post a pic by the weekend of the progress.

I bought a new headliner board/biscuit off Ebay. It's in really good shape, but before I install it I thought I'd see if there was any/enough interest to go through the time/expense of taking a mold of it and reproducing copies in fiberglass.
At present, repro headliner biscuits are available from the UK only for around $250, but the shipping is also around $250, so around $500 out the door. I would probably charge $225 myself and use greyhound freight to ship, which should be no more than about $75, so about $300 out the door instead of $500 from the UK.
If no one's interested, that's fine. It's just a shame to have this thing here in such nice condition, a bunch of molding supplies nearby, and know there's no one in the US making these right now. But I'd need a few people right off the bat to want one to be worth the expense of making a mold, not to mention the large amount of space the mold will take up in my garage...

I'm sure I am a day or two, or year or two too late to reply to this. I would be interested. My headliner in my 95 is falling down bad, it's stained, and it appears that the person I bought the car from tried to put it back up with a spray can of adhesive..... poor job of it too.

Going to bite the bullet and take it to an auto apholstry shop. They told me it would be 450 for them to replace the whole headliner.

Actually starting production of the fiberglass headliner in just under 60 days. As an XJS addict I am working on reproducing several parts. Just started production of the front spoiler, OEM replica down to slide joints and all markings. Next is the headlight trim with chrome being done by an OEM supplier to the automotive industry. After that the tail lights and fog lamp covers.

Worked on it for about 4 hours yesterday afternoon and made significant progress. Hope to work on it more tonight. Surfacing is about 75% done at this point. Needs another 5-6 hours or so and should be ready to mold.

OOOooooooo, starting to get itchy feeling (one of anticipation, not fiberglass....;-). Anyway, how goes the battle? I'm ready to send some $$$$ as soon as you tell me when.
