davemack,

All part of the fun of owning a 20 year old car with limited production run. (Facelift parts are more rare, especially the ones that don't share uses with previous models of the x300s)

You can either save money and waste time hunting down the bargains, or save time and spend money with a one stop shop.

Jagbits does do an excellent job of (a) shipping very quickly and (b) clearly identifying aftermarket versus OEM. There are many vendors who are vague about what exactly you're getting.

JDHT should be your first stop. I'm always amazed at how quickly the orders are received from the UK! There is a premium for shipping, but if you put enough parts in, it becomes much easier to swallow. I take advantage of including a bunch of small nickel and dime parts when I need to place an order.

After that it's usually eBay.
Unless things have changed recently or system is different down here, parts can be ordered from jag heritage via your local jag dealer for pickup at no freight charge.

Not in the US.

JDHT, as I mentioned in my first response is a great place to order from, the shipping can be a bit heavy....to here in the US.

Some parts are way overpriced, others are a bargain, most are fair. Definitely worth a look to start the search, if only to confirm part numbers.

Just to throw my 2p worth,

I've only had my Jag about a year. But I work on it quite a bit when I'm stateside (more than I get to drive it).

I've been using Gary as my main supplier. I cannot say enough good things about him and his company. This past spring I had my car in a shop in Baltimore while I was out in Seattle working on my sailboat. As soon as the shop would call saying they discovered another part they needed, I could call Gary and the part was there the next day.

What more needs to be said?

Cheers
