And I am also specifically looking to buy one of the later 6.0 cars .... of which there aren't too many about (as you may have noticed).

Thanks very much for the detailed reply .... That is quite a long list !
It was indeed the same car that I saw. I did notice some of those issues, and had agreed with him that I would get an inspection done. Guess I don't need to do that anymore ;-)

TBH, I may have still considered this at a much lower price given the issues because the engine did seem to be running well during the test ride and I could spend the additional few £k to get the issues sorted.

Let me also have a look at the other one you mentioned .. a bit higher than what I want to spend, but if it is as good as you say, then maybe I could be tempted.

I always take a new-to-me vehicle for an UNRECORDED MoT and always pay for it. Provided the tester doesn't login to DVSA, there is no change to the current test expiry date even if the vehicle fails. Once a vehicle test is commenced on the DVSA system, the only way to stop it is to ABANDON the test and some testers are reluctant to do this as it can raise awkward questions the next time the Testing Station is inspected.
