This what I would do... Actually, this IS what I do... I make myself comfortable and go to eBay... Type in Jaguar XJS salvage/parts.. I'll find a seller that seems to have a part that could only come from a part out car,,, look at their "other listings" by finding the area of the item page that lists their eBay name... At the bottom of the little rectangular box where their name is,,,, I click "sellers other items" and then another box comes up that says "CONTACT"... Then I send them a message asking for the specific thing I'm looking for... I garunteeee you will get a scrapper to go cut that thing off and send it to you... It's not hard I promise. They almost always write back. Give the story of your restoration...
I usually COPY my first message making sending it to 10 sellers I come across a copy and paste job. Makes it quick.
