Default Knob

I am currently stripping out and restoring the interior on my 92 manual, the seats are Magnolia and the carpets are Harvest (beige)
The gear stick gator is black and the leather gear knob is grey

As you can see its a Jaguar part and in very good condition- knowing how rare these things and the silly money they go for on ebay. does anyone know of anywhere I could do a swap for either a beige or black knob, I don't really like the aftermarket things that seem to be all that is available so thought someone might have one or want to change the colour of their current one

Just an idea

Dyeing leather is straightforward. Especially if going from light to dark. Making it black would be really easy. Making it beige wouldn't be as easy, but wouldn't be hard either. If you can't find anyone to trade with.

Yes that is an option I have thought of, I would ideally like a beige *** with magnolia gator as I think it would really add to the car, the black in the middle of all that wood and barley colour looks a bit naff, but if I have not found one before March when it is due to go back on the road, I will be colour washing and staining, I could go beige but I dont think the stitches will survive the washing process
