It was in the DC Metro area.
The XJS was sooooo unloved when it first came out. Then the V12 was totally unloved. Yet, it had the longest production run (22 years) of any car Jaguar ever made.
Its my favorite of any of Jag's "modern era" cars. It has it all... luxury, performance, looks, safety and nobody wants them. Gorgeous low model XJSs are sold for a song.
Never thought I'd have one with a 5 speed.

You've probably seen more XJSs than I've ever even dreamed about.
I thought the Getrag was 1 Reverse, 4 Forward. It's not?
Just out of curiousity, this is the only 'late model' XJS I've ever seen with a manual tranny. How rare are they? (this one had the tranny installed about 6 years ago).
