Left Side Knee Bolster Removal

How does the plastic bolster fastener in the top corner of the knee bolster on the left side come out? I'm trying to remove the bolster to replace the broken bolster clamps. !996 XJS Convertible

Turn the plastic screw head so that the part where the flat head screwdriver goes into it, is oriented vertically. Should fall right out.

Knee Bolster Fastener Removal

Vee, thanks for the reply. There is no slot on the fastener.. It's just a flat top. If it just has to be turned I'll try to get pliers on it and see what happens..
