85 to 88 degrees C on the bottom hose after a hot run and a 10 min idle is absolutely fine and bang on. proves the rad is OK, IMO. But as Grant says, changing the clutch is a great idea. Also, Grant's points about the thermostats are really important. it might be worth a swapping out the thermostat on the hotter side for a new one and seeing what difference it makes.
