Hello all,
Brand new to these forums and just wanted to say hi. We are just begining our search for a fun summer car. We have always loved the looks of the XJ-S's and are looking at purchasing one over the winter. Looking at 88-92's From the looks of things there are a lot of them out there for sale. I would sure appreciate some input as to what to avoid, and what potential problems are inhearent to all of them. I am very capable of doing my own maintenence and basic repairs. (I own 2 Audi V8's so you have to be self sufficient) and I have heard a lot of horror stories about the V-12's but I don't believe everything I hear. Any comments would be much appreciated.

Hello all. Still looking for a nice xjs. I have all winter to look and find something as we are looking at bad roads for the next 4 months. My question now is, do any of the years fit taller people better than others due to different seat heights? I'm 6'2" and am a little worried about the coupes roof height. How about the converts? With the top up, do they offer more or less head room than the coupes? Thanks in advance for any responses.
