Default Low Coolant Module

Where is it?

I've tried searching and it seems that I cant find what i'm looking for. The best I've found is a schematic that points out how the module is wired up.

My low coolant light is always on and I've been trying to track down why. Just trying to get the Jag working the way it should... seems I have a long road ahead of me.

The low coolant sensor is plugged into a rubber bung in the side of the header tank which is the one with the pressure cap on the inner wing just behind the radiator US drivers side.

I believe (not 100% sure) it works by being permanently earthed via the coolant and the light comes on when the earthing stops because the coolant is low. The actual unit that runs it is under the dash on the passenger side. Worth trying to earth the wire to the sensor and seeing if that turns out the light. And checking your coolant level of course!

Thanks Greg,
From what I can tell, it's the one under the passenger side dash. Kind of a round canister with 4 wires coming out of it. I will replace it and see what happens. Grounding the sensor and replacing the sensor had no effect.
