Default Lucas ignition years - What type of connectors for the fuel injectors

I have a 90 XJ12 but the ignition system is the same as the pre 89's. Does anyone know what type of injector connectors used? I bought Bosch EV1's but they don't fit and click on.

Thanks

Thats the Bosch Part # for the kit.

What I have used for 30+ years.

I used to buy direct when I had my Parts Store, but now I have no idea, the Store is gone as are the V12's.
Google could be your friend.

There will be alternatives, but I dont know them.

Google "Bosch Injector Connector EV1" and you'll get lots of hits

Makke sure you buy then ones with the half moon cutouts, otherwise they do not fit:

Thanks, I bought EV1 connectors but they don't fit. I'll order a different set from someone else.

Thanks

Only the low profile EV1 type connectors will fit. E.g.

TE PN 825414-5 or

826008-5
AMP
TE Internal #: 826008-5
Timer Connector System, Housing for Female Terminals, Wire-to-
Wire, 2 Position, 5mm [.197in] Centerline, Sealable, Black, Signal

Thanks, that is the challenge. The angle of the injector terminal makes it impossible to latch.

The connectors with the half moon cutouts are required. As in the photo in the second link we were posted by F G, and not as in the photo in his first link.

@Greg in France

That's what I bought initially, they work great on sensors but not on the injectors themselves. They may work on the new injectors that I'm getting

Greg made a good point about the cut out. Here are snips from the TE PDF as well as drawings for "maybe" a couple of alternate connectors including a knock-off version that looks easier to disconnect (IF it fits)The

The numerical -# variations tend to indicate different plastic colors.

Unknown if the cutout below is big enough:

PN 037 906 240G below for AMP connectors - By KingKong connectors (unknown fit but looks plausible)
Also PN 829441-1 looks the similar.

I never knew that EV1 connectors were high or low profile. Learn sumthin' new every day !

I guess I've just been lucky in always getting ones that fit fine.
