Default Lug nuts??

I got a set of brand new tires and on a set of 96' XJ6 OEM rims and put them onto my 83 XJS, but a few of the lugnuts were starting to deteriorate with the chrome cap coming off.
Where can I get replacements? These lugnuts have a shoulder on them that is roughly 1/2 in long.
The local parts stores weren't much help. They didn't have anything in stock, and could only guess what would fit.
Rims look like this:

Lug nuts look like this: http://www.partsgeek.com/7yz12zy-jag...+-+OES+Genuine

Hmm...looks like part number W0133-1639474 which has the cheap chrome cap. Either way, it seems the prices are rather high? The cheapest I could find is $12.68 EACH + shipping. Does this sound right?

Yeah, that's about right... the actual Jaguar nuts are very expensive!

If you find and aftermarket type that'll work, give a big shout with the part number.

Cheers

I bought a whole box of lug nuts from an XJ6, which happens to use the same lugnuts. Do a search on eBay and you may find them for peanuts...which is what I paid for mine.

So the threads are imperial and not metric?

Yup, they are not metric. Just a standard 1/2" NF
Go to CAR PARTS DISCOUNT Auto Parts Stores & Online Warehouse and put in part number 105751 They are the correct ones with the stainless caps. I bought mine for $5.95 each a while back.
You can also go to Ebay and use this part number CCC007028 and find several sellers, but they are more than the one above, for the same nut.

Im looking for a set of lug nuts without the cap on them. My caps jingle and it sounds like christmas all the time.

Cant find any solid nuts with the shoulder on them though. Not sure if it is needed. Maybe the common angled nuts will work fine?

I don't believe you can use the standard seat lugnuts on these wheels, they require the shoulder to keep them aligned and a standard seat would loosen and probably ruin the wheel.
