Default Missing relay?

Good day everyone! I was cleaning and lubricating all connections I could find and I ran into this on the RH in front of the windshield wiper fluid. Am I missing something important?

Thank you!!

Probably not. To simplify production Jaguar often installed wiring and sockets for a variety of equipment levels even if the car in question wasn't intended to be equipped with xxx-item. Often this is market-related with (for example) German market cars having some gadgets and gizmos not used on USA cars or UK or whatever

Cheers
DD

My XJS (USA, MY 1988, V12) have two relays here. From scheme, one is air conditioning compressor relay, second stop lamp relay.

Mine is a 1985 USA. Would the relay be exactly like the one beside it? Doesn’t hurt to try since my a/c is dead! Haha!

Mine is a 1990 Convertible,,, and there I find an AC relay,,, and another (I forget what the "other" is). If you can switch on your AC with a multi meter hooked into 85 or 86 ports (I think this would be the "switch" lead) and see if you get juice... Electrics isn't my strong suit (by any stretch) but power here would switch on the higher amp power to the AC electro magnet to engage the AC clutch...

Thank you roma_mg! How should I look for the one that is missing? What specs? Or would it be the same as the one that is there?
Thanks again!
