Default That Moment

I finally had "That Moment" with my early 94 2+2 with a 4.0 AJ6 engine. That moment you have when after months (9 in my case) where you fixed something and everything worked liked it was supposed to and your car accelerated and drove as it was designed. "That Moment" happened for me yesterday! It was worth it.

Oldcoastie... ain't it great! Had that moment just 2 weeks ago after 1+ year of "fixings" things in my 93 convert. Actually tried the A/C just today and realized it'd been so long since using it I forgot how to turn it on, LOL. Just nice to know there are other die-hard lovers of XJS to continue the love affair.

Plenty of us out there! I had my moment after a 2 year rebuild in 2011! And another in 2020 after I fixed - eventually after lots of mis-diagnoses - the differential!

Only because I have a 93 convertible also, and have just figured that my ac doesn't work, don't you just turn it to cold and set fan speed where you want it? I have wondered why there isn't an ac button or switch. The manual only shows ac operation for the coupe
