Im doing some research to hopefully in the future convert my 84 XJS to Megasquirt fuel and spark.
The only piece of info i could find to make the spark work for 12cyls was Phillips DESC controller found here: Dual EDIS ignition
Seems as if his contact info has been removed/relocated on his website. Does anyone have any info on the DESC? are there any alternatives??
Thanks!

I didn't see any replies to your dual EDIS 6 comment, so I thought I would say something. Although, I don't have a serious background on vehicles, I do have a background in design of embedded systems and should be able to handle that problem. I have an '85 XJS and would like to deploy such a system myself. I did run across some info that suggests that MSIII may solve the problem without that DESC, but I'm not sure. I believe they're using a flip flop circuit to solve the phasing problem, but I'll have to do some more research. I'm not sure why it tends to only occur above 4000 rpm, but if that's the case, it may be more attributed to noise or the inability of the system to handle the shorter waveform at higher frequencies.
