It looks a bit brown in the shade, but absolutely bright sunny yellow in the sun, pearl baby!

its really hard to tell the color unitll the whole car is assembled, it becomes an emotional thing,(like the minds eye).

and most people will change from day to day, there feelings about car colors, some days i like my color somedays i dont.
but along comes somebody and says WOW!! thats a great color, then i feel better.

put it together, give it a nice wash and wax, and call it done!

Got most of the chrome and rubber (sides) out together. Rebuilt door locks, handles and linkages. Even got new keys made, so old ones do not look old in my pocket.
Next step headlights, bumpers and big glass.

Good progress in less than two weeks since you posted about getting back home.

Just the doors, hood alignment and latch re-cabling took me 2 days.
It sucks to go into things and find out that primitive life forms already been there!

Oh yes!

Easier to start from scratch than have to correct other peoples mistakes first.

Amen! I spent one long day adjusting one door on my Jensen Interceptor, half of which went into finding out that a low life had "repaired" the door (it looked a nice job only nothing was properly aligned) so that it was impossible to get it right.

Doors are my specialty now, I made different shims and can get them from sticking out, or falling in.

Oh yea, they are ugly, but 16 gauge steel, so I can put floor jack anywhere I want.
Some new pics here, with the lights and glass back in.
BTW, is the headlight aligned fine, depth wise?

I notice the stance, especially the rear height. -What is the trick to the inch lift in the rear? -Certainly doesn't look like stock suspension. I have new adjustable Koni's and new springs going in next week.
