Long as buyer is happy all that matters but looking at the under hood and some of the interior pics the 14,000 miles part don't add up. It's a nice car but something don't look right.

Can't see most of the gallery, but that photo of the engine shows really faded/worn plaques atop the manifolds.
Of course the bulk of the reason for this price is that it's one of only 100 XJS-S cars sent to the US. We plebs with our plain old XJ-S cars could never aspire to such lofty heights.

I see cars with half the mileage of mine (118k)that look like they have been thru hell and back all the time. Wrecked interiors, dirty engine compartments/trunks.

True. And I've seen cars with 80-90k on the clock that look absolutely fantastic.

I wonder what made that paint peel off...

But if buyer and seller are happy, those are only two that matter in this trade.

This is a good sign for what's to come. I've never really looked at my car as investment property, lol... But I hope folks like these keep doing this kinda thing,,, it's what pushes values in markets. I guess that's how I'll take this listing...? It takes something to push the market and values. Maybe this is what that looks like?

The prices on bring a trailer are often crazy high. I can't imagine who buys stuff there.

.

some-day, people who are not aware that Harsh soaps and cleaning chemicles , along with HI=pressure washers, can take the paint and decals off the engines!
truth beknown, cleaning/ and Detailing engines has become an ART form, some are better than others!
