Since the original project thread there's been more work done.

New windscreen, quite a palaver with the windscreen company who hadn't done one before, but looks nice now.
New front shocks
The car has been dinitrol thoughly!
The interior has been redyed with two like new front seats.
The interior now looks excellent
Power steering rack tower rebuilt
Cracked the power steering resevoir in the process and had to replace it!
Passed MOT, due for a new one now but it will pass no problem.
All electrics now working

What's it worth as I need to sell it , unfortunately, to fund my XJC project?

Lovely looking car. Worth listing in the JEC magazine and Ebay. FWIW, I think it important to list everything that has been done, and be especially clear about the state of the bodywork, rust problems that are fixed, or do not exist, etc etc.
Having said all that, real world price 3,500 UKP, start at 3,950, really a matter of finding someone who wants a good one.

I just drove my XJS down to Bristol Classic Car Show and back to London, which is about 90 miles each way.

On the way there at 85-90mph it indicated about 25mpg. On the way back at 70mph I was getting 29-30mpg... unitl I got bored.

Saw an xjs the same colour as mine but with twin headlights as I was approaching the M25 on the way back, anybody on here??

Sad day......it's gone!!!!

All that beautiful machine, hundereds of hours of labour, love and frustation exchanged for some paper notes.

Oh well, on to the next project. The words "punishment glutton for" spring to mind.

I need to win the lottery.

On a different note I can't get to kelsey jaguar world forum, anybody else on there having problems?

My condolences on your baby leaving, mourn for a short time, then get busy finding the next one!

I can't either and haven't been able to for a few weeks; keep getting 'internal server error' or some such.

Got one already!!, or one and a half actually. XJC to restore and an XJ6 to strip down for parts for it.

When I say got into I mean could see it at least. I still haven't managed to log on or re-register I Removed all "browsing history" including passwords and cookies, then I could see the website and forums. I'll keep trying and let you know. I managed to get in by trying to log in and using the forgotten password option but still could not post.
