turn signal/hazard lights were very expensive $18. dollars at WALMART, for the pair!
complete light units, work great!
my head lights and projector beams ,same good old Walmart, at the time both less than $60. bucks!!
but i'm sure prices have changed , that was 25yrs ago. but they dont match modern HID/LED lights ,technolgy is always moving on!
but they are good enough for me!

I think it's the lowered, sporty coupe look along with the side pipes, flared fenders, clean line behind the seats, and of course... right hand drive. Then you tell them it is V12 powered and that's all it takes to drop the jaws! I've admired your car for a long time.
It's pretty rewarding to be told that you are in the coolest and/or the most beautiful car that someone has ever seen. I even get that in my XJ12 occasionally. A few weeks ago at Walgreen's of all places, a man came up and I decided to show him the V12 (which I don't usually do). He took a picture of it! As I told him a little bit about the car, he said "You're so modest! This car is incredible!". Pretty neat. But as its owner and caretaker, I know all of its little flaws - which casual viewers can overlook. In general it is really nice and I'm lucky to own such a fine example. But I do tell lookers that it takes work to keep it that way.

Ronbros that is one badass V12. Mine looks so tame in comparison. Different kind of cars though. I love the way you said "screw factory conventional" and made the fuel rails and plug wires scream "Look at me!!". The fuel rails are a perfect match for the engine. The red and yellow colors really set it off too.

In the XJ6 I get plenty of thumbs up from young guys (P platers around 17-21 yo) nearly every time I take it out. I think they just see it as a cool old car.
Haven't had that so far in the XJS, had a couple of 50 ish guys comment on it. Because back in the 80's us 50 ish guys were teenagers dreaming about owning an XJS.

It is very pleasant to notice we still have boys and girls who looks cars with interest. No matter is it car design or just some individual item, like big wheels etc etc...
Makes me happy when people are coming to comment about my car on fueling station or parking area, or just give thump up on traffic lights. I will do that too when seeing something interesting in these soapbox/vacuum cleaner look a like body mover filled roads. Doesn't matter am i going with my Rover or Jaguar, many people just likes classic lines.
