No acceleration or much power from XJS V12 HE
Alright so the engine was running very rich but would fix itself as it warmed up. Ran very good with lots of power last summer.
Took the car out the other week and noticed the fuel pressure regulators are leaking large amounts of fuel into both manifolds. So I replaced them.
Started the engine again and it has a surging idle, AAV valve is the culprit as it is currently stuck open but the surging fixes itself as I plug the inlet hole until thee engine warms up idling around 1100 rpm in park, 650 rpm in gear.
After warming up it runs and purrs beautifully. Transmission is also good.
Only problem now is that the engine has no power. If I stop on a hill and have to get moving, I am barely able to get the car to speed up, almost not making it up the hill. It's like the car is in "family mode" or something. WIll rev to redline in neutral but struggle above 3500 under load.
I am not sure what the issue is here. Too much air, not enough gas? Maybe the TPS sensor or fuel pump?
I have brand new ignition coils, spark plugs, leads, injectors, injector harness, O2 sensors. Throttle bodies are tuned and in the proper position.
Any help is much appreciated.

I reckon a look and see of the rotor and cap is well worth the effort.
The TPS is also at play here, so checking that for dead spots, or other weird happenings would be smart.
All that fuel has possibly damaged/blocked/ etc the exhaust system. OK, it still pulses as you say, but restrictions in it will reek havoc.
The new plugs?, before the FPR issue, or after?. If before, they be toast.
Also, just for giggles, check the throttle spindle pivot bushes, in the bracket at the rear of each Inlet manifold. May be missing or simply worn out.
