Default No turnsignals, but hazards work

I have the 1993 XJS running pretty well, even took it around the neighborhood the other day. One issue Ive found is that my turnsignals dont work, however my hazards work fine. I checked the fuse and it looks fine. Lights switch and everything else on the stalk work fine. Any ideas?

When you say "everything on the stalk works fine", do you mean everything else that is not the turn signals works? Not clear on the connection you're making. Everything else does not have the problem which is why everything else still works.
You'll have to locate the turn signal relay . Can't see it being the stalk if both side don't work.

Yes I was kinda just saying that everything else on the multifunction switch is working, and yes I understand that none of the other things are connected to the turn signals. I didn't know if the hazard and turnsignal relays would be the same one or not. I just thought it kinda odd that I would have the one working but not the other

Yes thats what I saw too. So more than likely its the multifunction switch I guess. Just to be sure I will verify the fuse and socket tomorrow before ordering.

Check both power inputs to the hazard switch. One is from the switch ignition power (29) and the other (16) seems to work the hazards as it is battery power. 29 (go to the power distribution page) has a fuse. Did you check that? It could also be the hazard switch too, meaning even though it is working itself, it may not be passing the switched power through to the flasher unit witjh key/ign on. Try to bypass the multi function switch on the column. I can't see that switch being bad in both directions. Pull the hazard switch out and re-seat the plug and while you're at it, check for input power from both 16 and 29.

Ok cool. I did pull the fuse, but didn't verify power at the socket. Ill look into it tomorrow, hopefully itll be something easy lol

I just got them working! I cleaned out and lubed the hazard switch, no go. I checked the fuse and it had power to it. Pulled the fuse and noticed the blades had a little corrosion on them. Cleaned and dielectric greased the blades, and they worked. Smh. Sometimes its the simple things lol. I needed to do the switch anyway because it was sticking

Great! Was it the Ignition power fuse to input (29)?

It was the 7.5amp turnsignal fuse. The fuse looked fine, but it had a "film" of corrosion on the blades. I guess cleaning that, and the dielectric grease, along with pulling it in and out, helped make it contact better
