Over the 20 years (and various Jags) I've used the following with happy results....
Jaguar EBC9658
Delco PF964
NAPA 1231 (same as WIX)
Fram PH2995
WIX 61231, 51231
Bosch 72147
My favorite lately, however, is the Baldwin BT292
Any of the above will be fine, and many others as well, no doubt.
Cheers

One consideration is filter length. On the V12, esp with cat converters, the longer filters are bit easier to remove. I can't remember which of the above, if any, are longer.
It seems to me that eons ago Jaguar offered a V12-specific filter that was slightly longer then the others. Later, all choices were rationalized into the single EBC9658....which is used on a very wide variety of Jags spanning decades.
If the mood strikes you can do some cross referencing on filter websites, using any of the above numbers, and almost surely find a candidate that is longer than the others.
Cheers

Over the years I've used dozens of Fram filters on a variety of cars, including Jags, and I can 100% assure you that nothing bad happened. Presumably you have some direct experience to the opposite? Like an engine failure or similar?
Fifteen years ago or so when all the bad press about Fram came out I stopped using them for quite some time, despite my experience of having no problems whatsoever with them over the years. I ended up feeling a bit silly. I started using them again a few years ago, along with other brands.
Later I found out that some Frams are better (or worse) than others. The blanket condemnation of years prior seems to have been a bit over-reaching. Unfortunately I don't recall if the 2995 as used on our Jags was ever checked in depth to determine where it falls in the spectrum.
For a few years I used only the genuine Jaguar-labeled filters. I have no idea whatsoever how thy compare to others but it was a 'feel good' phase that I went thru.....much like the Baldwin thing.
I have a supply of Baldwin filters for my Jag that'll last quite some time so I wont be faced with any gut-wrenching filter decisions for a couple years at least
Cheers
