Passed smog CA! But overheated majorly
I am having a overheating prob now. no idea what the deal is.
Starting blowing coolant out the side while idling, and once i get up and going it comes down alittle.
Got home pulled in the drive stuck the hose on the radiator up front and the temp came on down stayed about 190+ 5 with the coolant. i have a extra temp gauge on the back right side cooling rail, that got to about 235 at the worst point. but the regular temp gauge is just over the N. Im stumped water hose on temp down. no hose temp ok then gets to about 208 on the gauge and starts to go.
My timing is perfect. the advance is working. there is water back in it. any thoughts would help.

Generally if the temp drops with road speed it suggests a weak fan clutch but things aren't alwyas that simple

I can't really understand what you've written, sorry.
But, anyway, the most common cause of V12 overheating are fairly stratightforward:
- Clogged radiator. It can be clogged internally, externally, or both
- Faulty fan clutch
- Faulty and/or incorrect thermostats
- Air pockets/incorrectly bled cooling system
Cheers
