I'm sure each one of us has their own idea of the "perfect" XJS. This one is nice but its not the perfect one for me.

I like that it has a 5-speed but I think it is over priced for the American market. I doubt it will sell for the asking price.

It's good that it has a spare steering wheel though, in case you accidentally lose the other one.
Seems like a reasonable price over here looking at the condition and mileage.
Modified air intakes so I wonder what else has been done?
What's with the seat belts hanging up all over the place?

The seatbelts are the mouse track, automated ones that were mandated on 88 models in the US.

Gotta wonder why it only has less than 28,000 miles on the clock. We all know that its a very bad idea to let these cars sit for long periods.

I think you could roll your own for significantly less.

Another 5-speed ... Very interesting - would love to play with the gears on an open highway!

The price would be right for a facelift XJS with these few miles, and they do sell well. Why would this not apply for a pre-facelift with such low miles with a five speed and in fairly nice condition?

Cheers,
