Some Day.. I did not get a whole lot of pictures but here are a few more. Driving around the coast of Kaikoura where the earthquake closed the road in 2016, only been open for a few months ... might be more but the work being done to reopen the road is amazing. Still only one way lots of times due to the road crews working.
From the Kaikpua lookout.
Part of the road re built along the coast, what a great drive. The coast is very scenic
.
The module with the arrow on it is an air solenoid, when the aircon comp starts, it lets more air into the manifold to prevent any tendency to stall at tickover. It is just fixed by the grommet it poke through into the airbox, as in your pic above.
Forgot to add this is not plugged in to anything, wires are just hanging there!
Also the cruise control does not work, light does not come one... any ideas where to start?
Need to buy the online manual.
I need to replace the yellow fan and E fan obviously, I am struggling as to why i don't go the twin E fan setup? I can get the Ford twin setup cheap as chips as the are available in Aus and NZ.
https://trademe.nz/motors/car-parts-...ing/1798349660 - Viscous clutch and fan $255 NZD - looks original and new - owner is a Jag secondhand parts seller, nice guy. Both new with what I think are the right markings.
Then there is the SPAL efan...10 or 11 inch, better then standard. . $194 NZD from Aus plus delivery. Might be able to find a good quality on in NZ cheaper.
From what I have found the fan is a puller fan.. Total $449 plus freight.
I can get a twin Ford Falcon fan setup for $112 NZ then I need to wire it up...

I feel there needs to be a good reason not to go the twin E fans option.

Looks like a great drive, all right. Thanks for the pics.
I don't think there's a cruise control light, unless I'm going nuts, which is likely. I don't remember seeing one in my '92. Or have I just forgotten? Anyway, my cruise control didn't work, either. Turned out to be a missing fuse, which is a good place to start. Yours is pre-facelift, so the cruise control vacuum bellows over the vee is also an obvious place to check, to make sure they're not split or anything.

Looks like a fun trip. Yes it is expensive to enjoy driving our V12 around. I took a trip down the East coast from Halifax to Orlando.... don't ask how much that cost...lol. But was fun.
I don't remember, but did you say that you can control the rear windows with a switch, or are they 'stuck' up ?
