Pics of painted bumpers?

Anyone have any pics of XJSs with body-color bumpers? I'd like to get my coupe painted in the next couple months here, and I've been thinking about painting the chrome portions of the bumpers (not the black rubber). My thoughts are:
1. I'm cheap.
2. Might lighten the look of the bumpers (my car is white), make the rubber portions look less thick and heavy.
3. I'm cheap.
Anyone done this, and have pics of any color, but preferably white? If my car were black this would be a no-brainer, but alas a color change isn't in the budget.
Thanks,
D

WOW! Like I said, if my car were black this would be a no-brainer. I never liked the look of larger rims but your car wears them perfectly.
Anyone have anything in a lighter color, where the black rubber doesn't blend so well?
Not planning on painting my grill or headlight surrounds (quads) - don't think that would look right in white.

Yeah, the wheels came with the tires, that are too tall 245/45/18 F and 255/45/18 R. But I want to wear them out before I buy new ones, as they are very good tires... I'm almost there.
The car is actually lowered, has koni (no longer in business) adjustable shocks, springs, big front and rear swaybars from GTJ (also no longer in business), headers and 2 1/2" exhaust, larger throttle bodies (80mm), K&N filters, SE ECU chip from Roger Bywater, T-56 6 speed (although not at the time of those pictures), etc...
I had another set of 18" wheels before with 255/35, and that was too low, so I am going to put 255/40 on the front, and 275/40 on the rear if they will fit in the wheel arch. I know 265/35 fit the rear without rubbing anything, so I hope the extra 10mm width and slightly higer profile will work.

WARNING to anyone wanting to put these, or any XKR wheels on an XJS, they don't just bolt on in the front, and the rears won't fit unless you have a later, facelift car...
Do your homework before you buy wheels, the late sedans, and XK's have totally different hubs, and such. The fronts require a spacer, and modifications to make the center caps work, etc. And the pre-facelift cars do not have enough room in the rear for 18" wheels/tires this wide.
