Default Please explain my evap lines

Hi forum, last week i was trying to find any info on my evap lines and flange, but it seems like my flange is super rear, no videos, no forum threads, only 2-3 photos i could find.

So the line A goes from Evap flange then to the bottom of the trunk, connect through rubber hose with sort of a valve, from this valve one exit goes through the floor to the open air, and another one kind of a return goes back somewhere under the fuel tank
Line B simply goes to the trunk floor to the open air
Also, on the last photo i have one hose С, one end is just goes to the open air under the trunk and second end not connected to anything and lying in the trunk

Basically, im just trying to understand if everything connected properly, what the purpose of all those lines and what they do.

Thank you

mouserider,

Just a guess, but is the line C potentially a battery vent pipe that should be connected to the vent port on the end of the battery?

Assuming A in the first pic goes to A in the second, that is the line that goes to the charcoal canister. Basically, it vents fumes from your tank so that pressure doesn't build up.

oh, thats make sense!, but then what the return line is doing that goes from that canister back to somewhere?

Also, then what the purpose of the line B, that just goes directly from flange to the air?

Thank you

Mouserider, My car only has one hose going from the fuel pump to the floor board and it has nothing to connect to. Your's is a different fuel pump than mine being my car is a 1993 XJS 4.0 convertible. Unless at some point someone switched fuel pumps, the line I have hanging there has no use.

Ok, so im adding a bit of information and other questions, from what i found

The plastic valve on the picture is rochester, inlet is from the tank, but outlet should go to charcoal canister, in my case it goes in the floor to the air! and top inlet is a vacuum line from the block.

Update for future viewers: UK cars did have outlet simply going outside, not to canister

So what i did so far:
1. Checked the Rochester: vac off, i can blow AND suck with little effort(2psi?), absolutely free flow with vacuum, sounds like it works
2. I tried to blow in to A hose - i can hear it goes to the tank and then exits thought this damn electric connector on the flange!
3. i tried to blow in to B hose, nothing!! its completely blocked, i still couldnt find what this hose suppose to do, why it goes directly outside, if there is another evap line that goes to rochester. Im completely lost on the purpose of B hose, cant find any info anywhere.
