Grant and Greg, I GOT IT OUT!!!!! The water pipe is on my garage floor!!!! Thanks so much for your help! Yes, the key is getting the compressor out of the way, and, the bellows must go to get at the inside bolts. I'm so excited, will sleep good tonight. Oh, I'm taking a break and watching golf after that success. Please, check back tomorrow night or Sunday, it all has to go back together yet, Thank you!!!!!!

GOOD ON YA.
Now Greg and I will go "walkabout", coz the refit is worse than the rip apart, ya think I'm kiddiing, HAHAHA.
Fitting one or 2 of the 90deg bends on the ends of the CUT by-pass pipe will have it done in under 30 minutes, but the Jag way will have that foul language flowing for days.
I found this page at work yesterday, and you need the 25mm 105mm 90deg bent hoses. # UHB25.
I doubt you will have Mackay in the States, but Gates make them also, I just could not find the Gates book.

Bugga.
That hose on top of the pump is TIGHT, and I have used "Rubber Grease" when I have it, or simple "Silicon Spray" when thats all I have.
Once its over the pump DO NOT tighten the clamps. That fun is left until ALL the hoses are on and lined up as they should be.
I know that removing the bend in that pipe on the LH side and using the 90deg hose will make life easier.
Measure what you intend MANY, MANY times, coz once you cut that pipe there is NO going back without buying a new pipe.

I received the Mackay hose today, only took two days. Maybe one more try without the 90 degree hose. An idea popped into my head, I will put the center part on first, then back it off until it almost pops off, then line up the outer ends. That might work. Grant, I will also grease it up, and maybe a coolant hose removal tool will fit in there, and, pop it on, if that first method doesn't work. After that, the 90 degree hose, It seems I have to cut the pipe AND the hose, at least on the long end that goes into the engine block. Grant, do I have to cut the hose after the bend also, do you remember?

Yep.
I did "trim" the Honda hose to length a little bit at a time.
Did not want to make a mistake as we did not have another hose in stock at the time.
Those Mackay hoses ar a "Universal" hose and are designed to be trimmed to suit whatever our imagination wants to use them for.
Much like their "Z" hoses.

This thread is ending in SUCCESS!!!! I got the water pipe on, and, clamped down! It took a lot of force, a helper, and, greasing the rubber pieces was KEY, Grant, thanks!!! Put the center on with much force, and grease, helper guided in the passenger side, with the driver's side flush and greased up. Then pushed the driver's side on, the grease was a BIG help here, lots of it. Thanks Grant, Greg, and others, I am so relieved. I can hardly believe it.
