Default Rare XJS?

I've just bought a 1999 XKR but suddenly very appreciative of XJS's. Am I correct that this is a rare car? According to Wikipedia (I think), there were 27 of these for the rest of the world market.

I imagine it is fairly rare for Japan, but there were 744 convertibles with the 5.3L V12 produced in 1992 according to the factory production numbers.

It doesn't look standard though.

It's been converted to US market sealed beam headlights instead of the proper Cibie's but other than that I don't see anything non standard. There isn't anything particularly unusual about it that would make it valuable.

But it does look like a lovely example with low-ish mileage, rare enough.

I saw a few Japanese re-imports when I bought my car. They all seemed super clean. But they all had grey interiors - never!
