re-vitalizing the 87 coupe'

Finally a nice day here in central virginia on the weekend.
I was trying to re-install the fan after replacing the belts a couple weeks ago. It was proving to be very hard to get the nuts onto the studs while keeping the whole unit far enough away from the fan backing plate to allow for clearance. Once all are on then they can be tightened down a little at a time rotating around the hub.
As I was doing this I notice an issue with the fan clutch that did not look right. Sure enough my fan clutch was bad. Would not turn at all. Off to the parts store to order a new one.
On the positive side the engine is looking very good. I took the throttle body out to clean it and refresh my custom gold paint. I also need to repair a wire that a mouse apparently decided to nibble on. Not sure if I should replace the wire or simply use some heat shrink wrap on it.
I also got the anti smog air injection piping "T" out from the top of the rear of the motor. Things are looking much more streamlined in there without all those pipes. Interesting the "T" seems to be completely clogged with soot. Blowing in the bottom of the pipe produce very little air flow from either T outlet. The air rail pipes were the same. The small pipes to each exhaust port were clogged so the whole system was useless anyway.
Hoping to get the fan on soon and then re-install the throttle body and cap off a couple of vacuum hoses or air cleaner housing ports connected to the air injection system .
After that it is on to installing a new wiper motor and new headlights hoping that takes care of my high beam headlight/blinker issues.
It sounds like a lot but I think I am actually fairly close. Hopefully I am not fantasizing in the land of delusion.

I went to the junk yard today for a door window on another car but stopped by an '86 XJ6 they have there. My question is what parts are compatible with XJS's. Obviously no the motor but what about the wiper motor, antenna motor (if you can get to it-no access was apparent in the trunk), brake calipers (front),
Some of the instruments looks the same and the switches but little else seems transferable.
