The one you saw on F &l was one they picked up from a junk yard in PA, it was the car that Brock Yates drove in the Cannon Ball Run to set the record time for a few yrs, the hood was off when they bought it

Yeah. I saw that. I haven't seen what Richard and Aaron have done with it, mebbe nothing.
Why, though???
On another car show, I saw a 36 Ford 5 window get reworked. Those cars had folding hoods from the sides. it was converted to a one piece, top, rear hinged.
I've seen that before. But, those hoods are much smaller and lighter than the jag bonnet!!
Could it be done, oh yeah!!!
