Rear Seat Removal

Rear Seat Removal
Has anyone completely removed the rear seat? Mine is busted at the seams and I cant see myself spending up to $1000 for a used one that will soon do the same.
Moving it would clear up some room and make it useful for storage. Also, make it easier for someone to fit back there. Its not like safety is any different as people now have to sit long ways on the seat, unable to use the seat belt anyway.

hoodun,
Coupe or Convertible?
I know of one guy who converted his 2+2 convertible and fitted the cubbybox-type storage that was fitted in the 2-seater convertible. One of the issues is that the 2+2 convertible uses a specific double bucket-type floorpan to allow the fitment of the extra 2 seats. This can limit the amount of useful storage that can be created.
